The park is very well presented beautiful setting. Amenities at the top end of the park were very clean and good showers. Shame about the freight train being so close and the attitude of the caretaker. We didn't realize the park was also a public park. Have stayed at better parks.

A simple and peaceful waypoint. We spent 6 nights here camped on the banks of the Meander River. Facilities are basic but clean and functional. Sites are large and grassed. A short walk into town and ducks and platypus at your back door. We also enjoyed kayaking on the river. Be warned the railway runs along the western boundary and there are a couple of trains each evening but well worth the short disruption for the remaining 23 hours 50 minutes of peace and tranquility each day.

Nice place, apart from freight trains ,power walking locals, kids on noisy mini bikes etc it does have platypus and very demanding fat ducks! It's almost in the centre of town and you'll know it ,summed up well by the council signage ....at on risk.... but have stayed at worse?

Over abundant supply of serenity. Quiet setting beside flowing river with ducks and platypus. Plenty of grass and clean well maintained amenities
