  Wow like entering a time warp! Friendly staff and a real labour of love in creating this colourful diner. An incredible collection of automobile memorabilia. Fully restored petrol and oil pumps, colourful signs, oil cans and bottles, a jukebox and a diner straight out of Happy Days. It has been many years since I craved a malted milk shake but I certainly enjoyed one today.

  While visiting Tasmania we were taken out to lunch with friends at the "Cruzin in the 50's Diner" in Deloraine. The proprietors have done a magnificent job setting up this diner with authentic decorations throughout the entire restaurant. There are numerous items to look at, some are available to purchase, others are designed to take you on a trip down memory lane. The food is also relevant to the era, the steak burgers / hamburgers and milkshakes are to die for, and come highly recommended. There is also a wood heater in the middle of the room, well fenced from little fingers, and it was a delight to sit around it on a cold day. The staff also dress in authentic 50's gear. A stop here has to be a must for any visitor to Tasmania.
